Hi, my name is Samena.
I am a passionate, bubbly and positive person. I have a kind and caring nature and will always try my hardest to make a difference in the environment I am in and will always make sure I do as much as I can to make a positive impact in peoples lives.
I am the youngest out of 10 siblings, and have 30+ nephews and nieces, so I know how to be around people of all ages.
I have the ability to form relationships with anyone of any age.
My specialty in terms of learning disabilities is Autism.
I enjoy carer work as I love looking after people who are unable to look after themselves, no matter their age. I have also work as a childminder (not professionally.) I love being the reason somebody is smiling and helping others in general.
I am aware that being a carer can have its challenges at times, however, I'm open to challenges, deal with them as professionally as I can and I love seeing the result of my hard work.
I have experience working with children as that is my job - I am a Teaching Assistant in a primary school and I grew up with many children in my family.
I have experience with elderly as I have two elderly parents - a father almost in his 90's and a mother almost in her 80's, and I have spent the last 5+ years being their carer.
I cannot cook that well, however I am willing to learn on the job.
I am a Muslim, so please understand that I cannot handle pork and alcohol as it is completely against my religion.

She was a lovely colleague and I am very happy I was able to meet someone like Samena that I can consider as a friend. She is very attentive and put the needs of our student above her own. It was refreshing to see that she has found the perfect career for her.

The time I worked with Samena I found her to be a very polite friendly person. She is able to work within the team as well as using here own initiative with working in small groups aswell as on a one to one basis. I have no doubt that Samena would give 100% with what she needs to do with what is expected from her.

Samena is fantastic individual who is amazing at her job. Samena cares and makes time for everyone which makes her stand out. I love working with her and can’t recommend her enough, you should consider yourself very luck if you get the chance to cross paths with her as she’s a 10/10 human being and I wish her every success in whatever she does.
